OPTION 2: SIT-DOWN MEAL

This option includes the following:

Two appetizers

One soup

One main course

One dessert

All dishes will be prepared for you to serve to your guests family-style. No fancy plating here - my cooking is all about the taste, although I promise it will look pretty enough (just check out the photos throughout this website for examples)!

Contact me for the current seasonally-inspired menu (hint: it's winter, so think cruciferous and root veggies; hearty soups, stews, and dumplings; and desserts involving apples, pears, or preserves made from summer bounty). As always, feel free to request a specific dish and we will work together to make it happen!

RATES AND "FINE PRINT"

The rates for dinner parties are as follows:

6-10 guests: $45/person

11-15 guests: $35/person

16-20 guests: $25/person

The above rates do not include ingredients, which will be billed at cost. You are welcome to request organic ingredients.

Out of ethical considerations, I only use cage-free eggs, free-range meat, and cheese made with vegetable rennet (when labeled).

Dinner parties are available for groups of 6 to 20 guests (you are welcome to include fewer than 6 people in your group; however, the minimum charge is for 6 people)

Cash and checks are accepted, and gift certificates are available.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your dinner party, please contact me at least 48 hours ahead; otherwise you will be billed for any ingredients that I may have purchased by the time you contact me to reschedule or cancel. If rescheduling, you would only be billed for any perishable ingredients purchased.

A variety of zakuski, or hors d'oeuvres, is traditionally served at the start of festive dinner gatherings in Russia; however, you can easily make an entire meal out of these tasty bites!

Choose five appetizers from my large repertoire, which includes options such as eggplant rolls, bean pate with caramelized onions, and beet salad with prunes and walnuts. A selection of bread and crackers for spreading and dipping is included. If desired, a traditional platter of cured and smoked meats, fish, and cheeses can be included at an extra cost.

Contact me for a list of current seasonally-inspired appetizer options, and if you have a specific one in mind - something you've tasted while traveling in Russia or visiting a local Russian restaurant, perhaps - do let me know! There is a good chance that I either know how to make it or can figure it out! :)

PRIVATE PARTY CHEF

Want to add a Russian twist to your next dinner party or special-occasion gathering? I will come to your house bringing all of the ingredients, take over your kitchen for several hours, and leave your sideboard piled high with a variety of mouth-watering dishes to serve to your guests.
