Piroshki

Hope everyone's 2019 is off to a good start! I was able to take about 10 days off around Christmas and New Year's to enjoy sleeping in, snowshoeing, and plenty of reading and watching shows in an armchair by the Christmas tree (our first live tree ever!).

Now it's back to work, i.e. busy. However, I'm very fortunate in that a lot of the work I do is actually really fun - which of course includes my cooking classes. So, I'm excited to announce my first class of 2019: a rerun of the ever-popular Piroshki.

Here's the scoop:

When: Friday, February 22, 5-8 pm

Where: Kathy's Kitchen at TwispWorks

What we'll do: We will make several kinds of piroshki hand pies that are one of Russia's most iconic foods. You will learn to create different styles/shapes of piroshki using a variety of savory and sweet fillings.

Fun fact: Last time a few students suggested that it would be nice to have wine in class, so this time we will try the BYOB route for wine and I will provide snacks!
